The reason we have the ability to 'post new topics' is because they're about NEW topics. It makes it a huge hassle to start clicking on the new posts for the day, and not knowing if you missed a part of the conversation because the other person posted their reply in a different sub-forum, or started a new topic wherever they happened to be surfing at that particular moment.
Plus it helps out the admins if we keep it organized around here.
