I would like to thank Casca and the other judges for a good, fair assessment of my piece. I hadn't considered entering it until I was there and the competition was being set up. The assessment of the piece with me being there to receive the criticisms was probably the best experience in a formal setting that I have ever had.
I really think that a workshop that functioned much like the interview portion of the tournament (with or without the head-to-heads) could be of great value to people serious about improving their craft.
