Kerethas' background. (so far... feel free to join in the story) - 2008/04/22 04:06
(ooc- bit of gamelore about him. barbarian, level 5. background in progress, as you can see.)
He walks along his section of the riverbank, listening to the quiet forest. He is thinking of his mother. Her bright white fur, her smile, and then her look of fear as her own people turned on her, attacked, killed her. He ran, as far as he could, until he found a village of simple swordsmiths.
These swordsmiths taught him how to fight, how to wield a sword and shield, a bow, daggers, and anything else me might need. He learned how to kill deer, then bear, then trolls. Finally he was ready to go.
He found a part of the river that was silent, far from the main road, and claimed it for his own. His own patch of heaven, away from the prying eyes of civilization, the closeted human hatred of wolves, the aloof rudeness of elves.
He liked it here. Until he heard a sound, much like a twig snapping, from across the river. He jumps up to a tree and jumps across, his agile half-human, half-wolf form easily crossing the distance. "Who's there?"
I am the wolf that hides in the darkness,
The nightmare that haunts evils dreams.
I am the stalker of the wicked and soulless,
The destroyer of the darkest things... |
