Inspired by Edan -- but not in the way he might have hoped -- Professor and I have brewed up our first batch of mead. The powerhouse combination of my culinary flair and his lab-monkey skills have yielded a clover honey wine flavored with orange peel and ginger. Alas that tasters will not be ready by Donutstock, but we have high hopes for the future. We'll keep ya posted. I'd post pictures but Professor lost the cable.
