Autumn Trials 11-11-06 - 2006/11/03 17:46
Autumn Trials is on Saturday, November 11th, 2006.
This annual event will be held in the same hall and field as last year, at the VFW Post 247 hall on 33rd and Leavenworth, (3302 Leavenworth St, Omaha, NE 68105 – 1916) and the jugging will take place in the park across the street.
The event starts at 12:00 (noon)
The Arts and Sciences competition will include as separate categories:
chili,
stew,
soup,
non-alcoholic beverage,
alcoholic beverage,
bread,
and for a first time this year, beans.
The game of the day will, of course, be jugging, with an exhibition match of Combat Football for the watching pleasure of the populace.
Points will be given and tallied for all events, with the winner of the day being named our Autumn Champion and wielder of the Sword of Autumn for the next year (sorry, this title is for locals only, but all of our Amtgard brethren are invited to attend and participate).
