 Howdy. New - 2012/01/31 08:48 I see random activity on the boards, but actually sort of found out about this through meetup.com. I used to be part of a foam group called the Black Company a year or so ago and miss fightin. (Recognized the name Amtgard from a former brother).

Out of curiosity, I wandered over here, read a bunch of shiz and the rules, and find myself even more curious!

The only foam fighting I've done before was more the actual fighting bits, didn't have magic and the like.

So is the group fairly active? (I'm in the denver area).

We've got a few parks in Denver, one meeting near the Denver Zoo, the other down in Highlands Ranch, I believe. Which one's closer to ya? ~Quiet

Anyhoo, I'm Edgewatery, so I'm going to try to hit up that one near the Denver Zoo this Sat I saw on the meetup. If only just to learn more, since this group seems more character-based than Black Company was

 Re:Howdy. New - 2012/02/01 03:08 That's definitely the park to go to. Most Amtgard parks, however, aren't really all that character driven. We have persona names, and play classes like wizard or archer in some of the games, but we spend most of the day just hitting each other with sticks.
