BoD Meeting: October 28, 2011

Meeting begins at 7:13pm M.S.T.
First order: Per IM Corpora, as Matt Shufeldt did not meet minimum attendance requirement needed of 6 times in 6 months (Appendix 1 Section 1.13), he is no longer qualified to be on the IM BoD and his seat is declared vacant. Per IM corpora, as Robin Moffitt had missed two BoD meetings consecutively (Appendix 1 Section 1.14), he is no longer qualified to be on the IM BoD and his seat is declared vacant. As there was already one seat left vacant due to lack of declarations at the last election, there are only two active members of the BoD remaining that are not currently in Imperial Office. This means at next election, three BoD seats are needing to be filled. Two of the vacant seats are from odd years and so will need filling until June 2012 (this will be the same time as when Kota Garmeson’s term expires), and one of the vacant seats is from an even year and so will need filling until June 2013.
Second Order: Remaining 3 of 4 BoD members meet quorum to vote. Present members voted Denise Beiswenger to be current BoD Chairman and also BoD Secretary, and also voted Kota Garmeson to be current BoD Treasurer.
Third Order: Kent Patten read the minutes from last meeting (1st Quarter 2011).
Forth Order: Decision was made for Kota Garmeson and Kent Patten to audit the Imperial bank account by November 30, 2011.
Fifth Order: Status of the Imperial bank account per ledger: $5006.34. There is a discrepancy of -$52.45, leaving the bank account per bank at: $4953.89. The hope is this discrepancy will be discovered during an audit, but due to poor record keeping regarding Rakis 2011, this amount may have to be written off as lost.
Sixth Order: The Empire is now in possession of a storage unit with the expense of $33 per month that is directly withdrawn from the Imperial bank account. This storage unit is used for storage of Imperial equipment. Access to this unit was given to 6 people of trustworthy repute to bring to the park or events on an as needed basis.
Seventh Order: Rakis financials show that Rakis 2011 was not a loss. The record is unavailable for immediate review.
