 Well Hello There . . . - 2011/06/05 00:09 It looks like we're going to be moving to Fort Carson this summer, so I guess we're going to be Iron Mountains peeps now.

Thought I'd drop in, say hi, see if I can't figure out who and how and where to get our records transferred and stuff.

 Re:Well Hello There . . . - 2011/06/06 16:18 Yes it is. South side of the Springs. No park really running, used to be Darkmoon, no attendance though. You can choose to start a park, or you can drive up to Denver as I do. Good group up there.

We might end up in Denver. The husband is pretty excited about playing at a kingdom group again. But I definitely like the idea of a shorter drive, so the group in Canon is certainly in the running.

I don't remember the name of the group out there, a week ago I could have told you, but all the street names and area names from house hunting has driven it right out of my head.

 Re:Well Hello There . . . - 2011/06/14 00:42 The group in Canon City is Crimson Dawn. We meet at Centennial Park *the duck park* on Saturdays around 1pm.

-Directions-

Take Hwy 50 west through Canon

Turn Left at 4th Street (there's a dinosaur museum on the left hand side... there's an oddly painted velociraptor (sp?) on the corner... if you pass the Royal Gorge Route train exit, you went too far)

Over the bridge... the park is along your right side

Turn right on Griffin... just past the last house on the right hand side is the entrance for the park...

You should see the small mass of oddly dressed characters playing with foam covered weapons from there...
or if nothing else, we'll be sitting at the table with a pile of weapons laying around

If someone else does all the work, I'll be a warm body. Between moving, learning a new city, school, and a looming deployment, I just don't think I'll have it in me to do much more than that.

Axys, thanks for the directions. We'll likely make the rounds on all the nearby parks, so they won't go to waste!
