2011 Summer Althing Declarations now open - 2011/04/07 15:13Greetings, fellow IM'ers! Declarations and Althing proposals are now being submitted for the Summer 2011 Althing. The following positions are now up for re-election:
Imperial Monarch/Regent (must run on a ticket) Imperial Champion Imperial GMR Crown Lands Seneschal (CL populace vote only) 2 Seats on the IM Board of Directors
If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please send your declarations to me by e-mail (Korderellin(@)gmail.com), or by private message on the IM forums. You may also post your declaration publicly here in the IM forums, or on the IM yahoogroup mailing list.
All contributing members in the IM core are eligible to run for the positions of Imperial Monarch, Regent, GMR, and Champion. In order to be eligible for a seat on the BOD, you must meet the attendance requirements for contributing membership, but are not required to be dues paid. Only contributing members of the Crown Lands may run for the position of Seneschal.
Declarations and Althing proposals shall be accepted until 11:59 PM, Friday, May 13th (the day before Crown Quals).

I'm sorry but you never sent me the tests I sent you to qual for the office, if you want to run for the office that's fine, the current reeves just need to elect someone. I believe Casca has intent to step up too.
The Reeves will vote on the 23rd, people should declare by the 22nd. Post your intent here please.

To grendel, I think what hannibal is saying is that as far as WE (being the people of Clim mostly, but a general claim) believe you to be inactive. I do not know how your attendance is myself but IGMR is still held to the same attendance requirements as Monarch, Regent or IPM. Cannot miss more than four consecutive weeks or eight total. If you have been keeping up attendance I think everyone would like to know.
I do not wish to start or be involved in any conflict this may cause, but this seems like jsut a munch of miscomunication.Kota Bloodmoore

Re:2011 Summer Althing Declarations now open - 2011/04/12 02:44The issue is not the 4/8, the issue is Grendel only declared, but never qualed for the office. I sent a number of copies to him, but never got a reply, due to this the Reeves guild now must elect a GMR from within per corpora. Casca, Kord, Robin, and myself are the current reeves as far as I know.

Well Dougie and I have declared our intent to run as Imperial Monarch/Regent, and we have planned to have a Magic themed reign. It is our intent to take Amtgard into the realms of Dominaria from Mirrodin to Phyrexia and back. We are looking at running MTG battle games, quests, and cultural tournaments where you can bring out your love for both games at once.
