Jan. 15th Quals, BoD meeting, and local IM park vote
Feb 12th IM game day Feb 20th HF game day
March 5th DM/WM in IM
March 26th Mid-reign in Denver
April 17th NH game day (run by Rafeki) -moved- -canceled- April 17th DM game day -canceled-
April 30 CD game day May 1st SG game day
May 14th Quals in IM
May 21st in DM (please note this is a Saturday in order to comply with their normal park day)
May 28th IM Jugging day
June 15th-19th Rakis
Now please stay tuned for Rakis work day updates, as Axgar and I will need your help to make this the best Rakis to date!

Re:IM land schedule (spring 2011) - 2011/02/14 18:20SG = Southgate in Trinidad CD = Crimson Dawn in Canon City DM = Darkmoon in Colorado Springs and "Dragon Master" which is the arts and sciences contest that is held within the Emperor's 6 month term
NH = Northern Holdfast in Fort Collins WM = Weapon Master which is the fighting tournament that is held within the emperor's 6 month term
HF = Hellion's Field in Aurora IM = Iron Mountains in Denver and also the name of the Kingdom that all these parks are included in.

Duhtch, the post you quoted is the imperial land calender, it's a schedule of imperial game days and events such as Dragonmaster and Weaponmaster. An imperial day differs from a normal park day in that you can expect the monarchy to travel, and often others from different lands, this normally produces a great day of fighting as you saw a few days ago. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask, you can also check out the corpora for an overview of amtgards form of government, and the rulebook for amtgards rules.

Re:IM land schedule (spring 2011) - 2011/03/20 08:00I have to go to SG the 2nd weekend in april to work on the Rakis site, which happens to be the same weekend as NH. Rafeki will be taking on the Empire's interests on this matter to ensure everyone has fun, so please go have fun with Rafeki, Kain, and the rest of NH!
If you can't make it to NH, I have a seat or two in my car open if you want to work on the Rakis site.
I have to go to Rivermoor and look over a few things, and will not be able to represent the Empire in DM on the 17th. Rafeki would like to take over but is unable due to work reasons, for these reasons the DM day is canceled.

Re:IM land schedule (spring 2011) - 2011/03/21 16:10Oh well... there's still sentiment down here with insular opinions about "Denver" that I'm still trying to shake. I mean there's a couple people here who have been playing for like close to 9-10 years who have a seriously big ingrained opinion about "outsiders".
Would have been nice to have a sit down with our current small group and go over why the things are the way they are and possibly how they could change.
But if you're going to kill the one scheduled date you have to come down here. I understand.
I mean they did say that the frequent visits (I'm guessing the Clue reign) from "Denver" was part of the reason why the park died. No visits might actually grow the park
