Using a Staff - 2010/01/09 07:53 Greetings again all,

I have another question, this time about weapons. Is using a staff as a bard a good idea or would it be better to use a Short and Dagger? What is the best set-up I guess weapon wise for a Bard? Trying to get idea's of what I need to make for when I get home and go from there. Thanks for any help again.

Re:Using a Staff - 2010/01/09 10:25 Personally I'd avoid any weapons with Any magic class, with the exception of maybe healer. It takes away from some pretty powerful spells to arm up. Most magic casters are support and are best at doing so. Just MPV. With Healer i usually do shield and short. When there is no light, there is dark;
When there is no dark, there is light;
When there is both dark and light, there is Bendu

Re:Using a Staff - 2010/01/11 14:08 depends on your level too. at some levels you might as well take a weapon

with bard a shield is nice, which you can combine with a free dagger, or a short sword and free dagger, I never used staff.
