 how does one get an insignia? - 2009/09/19 23:51 i know i need to design, and i need to get it to the kingdom PM or someone, but how do i do it?

i've drawn it up on my computer and as soon as i get it registered i plan on putting it on my garb and shields, but what is the exact process? do i just print it out and hand it in and wait for approval? are there specific rules to it like i must be a member so long (my younger sister is also interested). any info would be great, but its no rush.

 Re:how does one get an insignia? - 2009/09/21 00:06 The IM doesn't really have a formal processing for registering heraldry. If you have come up with a design, you're welcome to put it on anything you want without having to go through a formalized process. It's considered bad form to use heraldry that is too similar to someone else's, so you might want to at least check and see if someone else has something similar already, but ultimately, there's nothing stopping you from using it anyway.  Re:how does one get an insignia? - 2009/09/23 00:27 Nah just keep using your symbol. If they're from a different kingdom it's not like you're going to see them anyway.

You might get a hard time if your symbol is the same as a group that's been around for a while. Other than that there's really no restriction as long as you aren't using the symbols for knighthood. I put the Laughter into Slaughter
