Food, Friends and Fighting!!



Who: You and all of your foam swinging friends!
What: Summer Trials 09!
When: Sept 11th-Sept 13th 2009
Where: Lake Arrowhead Park in Neola, IA
Why: Do I really need to answer this one?
Event Fee: $10/person
Camping fee: $10/tent/night paid to the park.
Brought to you by: The Eternal Flame Fighting Company!

Come and join the fun at the Principality of Rivermoor's premiere fighting event! We're expecting a great event and can't wait for everyone to join us! Get your team together to fight for the Summer Championship and the coveted Summer Cup!

We are looking for a group to provide a donation Lunch on Saturday. If you're interested, please contact us at [email]summertrials@gmail.com[/email]! Event Schedule:

Friday Sept 11th
Gate opens at Noon!
Open ditching
5:00pm - Mystery Box cooking begins!
Dusk - Opening Ceremonies
Bardic and Nighthunter to start after Ceremonies have concluded.

Saturday Sept 12th
Open Ditching ALL DAY LONG!!!
8:30am - Breakfast by House Ironwood!
10am - Militia Capture the Flag Battle
Noon - Lunch (TBD)
12:30 - Classes (TBD)
1pm - 12 man Everyclass Battlegame!
3pm - The Grand Melee!!
7pm - Feast and Court to follow!

Sunday Sept 13th
8:30am Breakfast by Free Companies
Open Ditching and heading home!

Team Rules:
1) Teams are limited to 40 (forty) fighting participants. You may have any number of non-combatants including pages and people participating in Bardic or Mystery Box.
2) Each team must have a Captain. They are responsible for ensuring their teams understand and abide by the rules of the games.
3) Teams may be made up of fighting company members, households, members of your park, principality or Kingdom! If you don't have a team, come and we'll get you on one!
4) If any participant argues with a reeve, they will be ejected from the game. No warnings, no questions asked. A Reeve's word is final. If there is an issue it can be brought up to the War 'Ocrat after the game.
5) We're all here to have a good time. While this is a competition, remember it's just a game and have a good time.

Please remember that since we are at an Iowa State Park, hard alcohol is not permitted. Beer and wine are fine. The following offenses will result in removal from the site by law enforcement:

1) Any minors caught with alcohol
2) Anyone caught providing a minor with alcohol
3) Anyone using illegal substances
4) Anyone fighting. We're here to fight for fun with weapons. Leave the tempers at home.

Though, you can always share a tent and split the costs. Can we start shopping for tent mates for you? Maybe we could have a fundraiser where the winner gets their very own Hannibal tent warmer? You get me a bed warmer and I'm there 100%... plaese make sure she does not eat members of the opposite sex.
