ever heard of a little game called "Ring the Bell"? there are a few variations, but we had a version that was a mix between ditching and ring the bell called "Kill the Captian"
Both sides have one designated captian, no class, no armor, just like ditching, but Bows are allowed, no special arrows, so shields are safe. No lives, when your dead your dead just like ditching, first team to kill the other teams captian wins, and whoever kills the captain joins the other side for the next round.
If you havent heard of ring the bell, its full class, each team has a single shield on the ground, first team to strike the opposite shield with a melee weapon wins. shields are the bases you come back to life at, and every round has a full reset, so you gain all lives back. sometimes we played it where whoever striked the bell gains joins the other team, but that sometimes lead to majorly uneven teams, and we usually played till one team won three times
