RP Tavern for Rakis 2009 - 2009/05/27 16:49The Padishah Emperor Rafiki Shaddam IV has ordered the two great houses of Atreides and Harkonnen to share the Planet of Arrakis, each with a required quota of the spice, Melange. His hope is that with both houses focusing their efforts on each other and producing the spice, they will not have time to subvert his power. The planet is divided evenly between the two houses expect for the Green Enclave of Rakis. The Emperor has installed a representative from House Corrino to rule the enclave and to serve as arbiter on all matter between the two houses. To ensure the peace of the Enclave, he also installed a garrison of his best Sardaukar Shock Troops to serve the Arbiter. Come be a part of one of the two Great Houses and help your House be the only one providing the Universe spice!
Friday night Bargaining with the Spacing Guild. In an effort to offer even more content for this year’s Role Play tavern, we will host a role play event. The two Great Houses will meet with representatives of the Spacing Guild to arrange a contract to transporting the spice Melange off of the surface of the planet. Can you support the goals of your house or will you simply get in the way.
Saturday Night
‘Bring a Bottle’ Bar. Anyone with a Green armband that brings a bottle of booze to share with everyone drinks for free. We will provide some other color of armband to identify those that are taking part. The tavern will provide cups, ice and mixers (Coke, OJ, etc.).
Call for help playing Monster NPC will play Fremen and Sardaukar troops as well as monsters. The various mission the player will be sent on are designed to help (or hinder) the standing for each house. No, thanks unless you have license to produce said item. I ain't no revenuer but unless you are very well training in producing such items, it is safer to just leave them at home.
