Crown Quals... Or is it? - 2009/05/23 03:18
So, the 27th of June, the Northern Holdfast will be holding something of a reign-reboot. I've been in charge since August, and I freely admit, I've done something of a lackluster sort of job.
So, on the 27th of June at Indian Hills park, I'm opening up the floor to a variety of options. If you feel like you can do a better job at running the NH than I have, and you're free to think so, then bring your gear, your sword, and we'll have ourselves an honest to god Crown Quals. I'm planning on re-qualifying myself, so you will have yourself some competition.
However, should no-one step up to the task by the 27th, then I will continue my extended reign until December or so. I'll be putting together an actual schedule of park events, and I have some good ideas for game activities to run throughout. The new theme, 'Back to Basics', will focus on a solid, simple reign, focusing on battlegaming every weekend, updated credits, and heaven forbid, Orders.
Also, the 27th will have a little mini-court. I'm going to fling more Orders at people than is really environmentally sound. I will also put out a call for a willing and capable regent for my next six months, who won't disappear two weeks after qualifying.
Oh, and I'm also our new PM, too. Yeah, yeah, can't hold two monarchy positions at once. Shush.
So gear up and get your shit together. Only fair, as I am too.
