PARK CHANGE - 2009/04/25 04:53 Spring Creek park has served us well for some time now, and I'm quite fond of it's open terrain, light covering trees, and shady spots.

However, the reasons we picked this park seem to have become largely moot, as the NH's population has declined.

Parking is no longer an issue so much as it was, which was one of our main reasons for choosing it, and as well, the convienence of the bathroom facilities is only a minor perk, as it's... quite a jaunt over to the baseball fields.

So I'm proposing a swap over to the Indian Hills park, beginning in May. Namely, May 3rd we will meet at the Indian Hills park, and see how we feel about it.

Indian Hills is located off of Stuart Street, between Lemay and College Ave, and is right off the sidewalk on the south side. You'd be hard pressed to miss it.

A perk of this new locale will be increased curiousity traffic, seeing as we're right next to a fairly major street, and less 'youngling' curiousity, namely kids under our required fighting age, due to the playground next to us presently.

So, yeah. May 3rd. Indian Hills. Somebody wanna google that? I gotta run.

Re:PARK CHANGE - 2009/05/08 00:28 I'm headed south for Mother's Day for the day, so up to you guys. Indian Hills was pretty good, though. I'd advise going there. ~Quiet

Re:PARK CHANGE - 2009/05/08 05:25 My two cents worth.

I enjoyed Indian Hills Park.

I believe it has advantages and disadvantages.
Has shade, terrain for group fighting (something the newers don't seem to grasp yet), good grass and a bit better visibility.

Doesn't have dogs(hmm is that a bad thing?) the parking bites, proximity to a bathroom??? bout the same, did I say the parking bites, and no cool sirens(and the advantages to having that there.

Am planning on going to Indian Hill unless told otherwise.

Re:PARK CHANGE - 2009/05/08 19:09 I say indian hills is where everyone should stay until a better park is found because spring park is a joke. We were at indian hills last week and we had alot of exposure obviously by all the cars driving by honking. I believe it IS the right choice for the NH now. You cannot change your destination overnight,
but you can change your direction overnight.
