IT seems to me that people come out they wait for 15 minutes and then leave because it seems due to the weather that no one is coming out.
John (Phonetic: Bren-Ulf) and I were out today for a while and then it started to rain with no end in sight so we took off.
If you're still wanting to hit someone.
1. I was trying to get some sort of fighter practice going... however that will be skirted here soon as I take off for the state that's round on both sides and "hi" in the middle, Thursday.

2. There is a group by the name of Melee who play with duct tape weapons out and down by Memorial Park.

Re:Park Much - 2009/04/12 00:50I blame the weather, last week I didn't show up cause it was snowing/blowing and knew no one would show. Today wasn't as bad, from 1230 until around 1400 when I finally left it starting to drizzle and the wind picked up.
Also, what part of the park were you around? I was hanging out in my car waiting to see if anyone would show up. We usually hang out on the west most field across the parking lot from the baseball diamond.

Re:Park Much - 2009/04/12 05:48I'll be in the Akron/Cuyahoga Falls area. I've Been thinking about doin some Belegarth since its in the area. However I think I might be able to make the trek out to either BFP or TNL possibly once or twice.
Do you know anything about Valley of Pan's Hallow? The ORK Atlas indicates that it's the closest Amt park to me.

Re:Park Much - 2009/04/12 06:40I think there's a matter of self sufficiency to this as well. Only a select few people actually have their own equipment. When the main catalyst doesn't show up, people catch word which sort of sets off a chain reaction.

Not take the loaner weapons that we haul out all the time, but get their own supplies and make their own. We've given away cores and have made covers for the taking. Darkmoon has even purchased funnoodle from Kord and people are willing to use it to repair the loaner weapons, but not buy it at cost to make their own! The main thing people are interested in is showing up and using the loaner weapons. totemBead all that you can Bead!

Re:Park Much - 2009/04/16 03:37Might I suggest a smaller quantity of loaners? Like just enough for new people and you guys? Then it'd force the issue of people getting their own stuff. I know you have threatened it before. But the follow through on that front has been kind of nil.
I know it might cause lower attendance. But, I think in the long run the park would be stronger for it.

Re:Park Much - 2009/05/18 21:40My construction techniques actually stand up pretty well. I've loaned my weapons out to people at the national level and have gotten nothing but compliments back. They're always saying how solid they feel.
Needless to say though, experience doesn't mean anything when there is always new technology.

ok seriously dude, whatever problem you have with lokin needs to stay off the boards, preferably away form amtgard but realistically you probably don't care that much. Either deal with whatever it is like adults or take it somewhere else. We really do not need our new players to learn from you and act like you.
Before you start in and letting me know what you think about what I just said, let tall you this fact. The only post i ever seem to see form you is useless babble about lokin, I do not really care what you think. Not until you learn to deal wiht this one way or another.
