Imperial Midreign Question - 2008/08/14 20:15So if this is posted here somewhere, I am sorry for the duplication, I browsed but didn't see anything.
On September 19th is Imperial midreign per teh calendar section, with location TBD. I *think* (could be off my rocker) that I heard it was going to be held in Trinidad. Is there any validity to this thought? If so...are there any details as of late surrounding such event?

Midreign WILL be in Trindidad at Trinidad Lake state park. They have an AWESOME groups campground out there and the amenities are fantastic. A large covered pavillion with a built in fireplace, a HUGE group fire ring. Electricity at some sites, showers a short drive away, and neat terrain.
The only drawback is that campers have to pay a per car fee in addition to us renting the site. I'll have more details soon, but if you have any specific questions please let me know. I can also use some volunteers if anyone wants to help out with feasts etc.

I've had a wonderful time playing across the length and breadth of our Empire these past few weeks, but it has sort of kept me from getting my midreign post out. so here it is! In two weeks, Sept 19-21 we have Imperial Midreign! YAY MIDREIGN!!!
I bet you want details huh? So here are the basics:
Where: Trinidad Lake State Park, Trinidad Colorado. We are in the Group camp area, called the Piedmont area. A map with directions is here:
Note this will get you to the Piedmont Campground, the visitor center is further down Hwy 12.
How Much?: The event fee is $10 per person, and the campground also charges $6 per car per night, so carpool if you can. I know this is a bit pricey, but imperial coffers are really, really low, and we need to make sure the event pays for itself.
What: Lotsa cool stuff
Friday night: Ditching, possibly Munchkin ball, A really cool fire ring for bardics/hanging out, and Spaghetti!
Saturday:
Breakfast by Axgar and Xandar(? have to confirm this) Weaponmaster Lunch (sandwiches will be provided, but make sure to bring your own munchies so you are sure to have plenty of energy for...) The QUEST! More Ditching/Munchkin ball Axgar and Xandar Food! Court Bardic and general carousing
