Summer Trials VI - 2008/08/12 03:38
You are invited to take part in the Duchy of Querna Tema's and The
Principality of Rivermoor premiere event. Summer Trials VI
When: Thursday 09.04.08 to Sunday 09.07.08
Where: Lake Arrowhead, 31267 Sumac Rd Neola, IA 51559 (712) 485-2295
Event fee: $10 adult / children 14 and under Free.
Camping fee: $10 per night per tent paid to the park
This year's theme is This Time It's War! Look forward to old stand
by's like Nighthunter, Amtgard Idol bardic, and Amtgard IronChef,
plus new fun to include militia battles, class battles and the ever
popular Grande Melee smash battle. Get your Teams together now. No
limits to the number of participants per team but Class limits will
be observed for class battles. Teams compete against each other to
score points. The Team with the most points by Saturday Court will be
declared The Summer Champions and the right to possess The Summer Cup
for a year.
Remember your feast gear because we have plenty of food for you.
Friday night weenie roast you bring a side to share. Breakfast,
lunch, and dinner on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday.
Special Bonus Content: We, as your autocrats, have secured 2 cabins
at Arrowhead Park for Friday and Saturday. These cabins have heat
and air plus a microwave and mini-fridge. They'll sleep 6. Check

Also making a reappearance this year is the fun filled fund raiser,
Pie in the Face. Find the Fair Teleri to put money on your favorite
(or not so favorite) Amtgarder and then bid to put a pie in their
face.
Early Bird Thursday
Those that want to camp out and help set up the site on Thursday and
Early Friday please fill free to come out.
Amtgard Iron Chef
A mystery box competition in the spirit of Iron Chief. Can your team
prepare an entry for the Friday feast?
Amtclasses
On Friday take one of the many classes that will instruct on
fighting, leadership, or A&S.
Night Hunter
This old favorite is back. Take to the trails in the dead of night.
Winner of Night hunter will receive points for their team, the title
of Night Hunter and a trophy.
Amtgard Idol
Bardic competition with a twist or is it a twisted bardic
competition? You be the judge (no pun intended)
