Clan Flooding - 2008/07/27 23:10 As many of you may have heard (and many of us who actually had the dubious pleasure of being IN the shit), the Clan site and surrounding areas were hit by flash floods, causing the site to be evacuated early this morning. Many IM'ers left Saturday night before things got really bad, and as far as I can tell everyone else got out ok this morning; everyone we could think of has been accounted for and is safe and well. DW peeps also cleared out Saturday night.

Additional details as everyone has time to get home, dried out, re-combobulated and online.

Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/28 00:45 Congrats on getting out, I had no idea how bad it was until messages started popping up on E-Sam.

So glad no one was seriously hurt or injured.

Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/28 03:56 Does anyone know how Lathara, Az, and their crew are doing? They are about the only IM Core I wasn't able to get any word on.

And did the midwesterners in attendance get out okay too? Especially Raph and Garik... I've been told those that camped down by the stream down the stairs got hit particularly hard. (EDIT: Okay, I got some info that they buggered out Saturday night. I was just worried because I found some aerial footage, and where Archon camp was there was a river instead. So, I was wanting to know how all the Empire's peeps faired.)

Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/28 04:23 I believe they left Saturday.

has the basic info and some posts from the BL list. It sounds like property loss for a few folks may be pretty bad, but that everyone made it out safely.

Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/28 04:23 lathara and her family left before and immediately after IM court. Azrael was unable to go with them at one point and was looking for a ride leaving that night. before i left i confirmed that he had indeed lined something up that would get him back home somehow. i'm fairly certain he was able to leave that night. i believe thier intentions were to go to las Cruces to stay with family. i doubt that we will hear from them until late tomorrow at the earliest. Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/28 23:31 Wow, yeah! That could have been really bad had we stayed any longer, but me and mine are fine. I thank everyone for their concern and help. Re:Clan Flooding - 2008/07/29 03:53 I'm so glad a lot of us left early... that could have been one hell of a cluster fuck.

Way glad everyone got out safe and sound!
