RAKIS SECURITY UPDATE - 2008/06/02 19:22Security Meeting on Friday, 6/13, at 8:00am-ish. Attendance highly recommended for all security peeps (obviously if you aren’t there yet, you can’t come). There is a breakfast sponsored by the Interkingdom House of Pancakes; what better way to start a meeting than grab some tasty food and sit down for a gab session? Go to breakfast, grab some grub, and we’ll have a little sit-down. This is basically your chance to ask some “what-if” questions and clear up any confusion you may have about what security detail really is. If you can’t make the meeting, come see me at any point to ask questions or get clarification. (Look for a run-down on security expectations in your e-mail shortly, if you've volunteered.)
The following is the schedule with any notations about shifts that could use coverage. Please contact me here or at sirtal@gmail.com to volunteer or if your current shift is no longer doable.
Wednesday Cutari – Officer of the Watch - on duty all day/night Casca - back-up
Thursday Cutari on duty as Officer of the Watch until Tal arrives. 8am - Noon: Serpentara 3pm - 6pm: Azrael 6pm - 8pm: Atlas 8pm - 10pm: Stormreaver Talisin on site around 7pm-ish, on duty as Officer of the Watch from that point on.
Friday Talisin – on all day & night as Officer of the Watch, except for 8pm – Midnight. 10am – 1pm: Savaen 1pm – 4pm: Balinor 4pm – 8pm: Professor 8pm - 10pm: Moss 8pm – Midnight - Casca – Officer of the Watch 10pm – Midnight - Grendel Midnight – 3am – Farlore
Saturday Talisin on all day & night as Officer of the Watch 8am – Noon – Professor 10am – 1pm: Savaen 1pm – 4pm: Balinor 6pm - 8pm: Loup End of court until midnight-2amish: William Midnight – 2am - Farlore

Re:RAKIS SECURITY UPDATE - 2008/06/03 06:26Will there be a way of distinguishing who a militia member is? Yeah it's not a long list to learn, but I won't lie, I've always wanted to flash a badge or a belt favor to show how cool I am.
Also, if I use enough propaganda to spark the interest of a friend or two and con them into going to the meeting, could they help out on the shifts as militia? I have a feeling some of my friends won't sign up ahead of time for something like this but wouldn't mind helping once we get there.

I actually was thinking of making a belt favor for militia/security members willing to wear one. You read my mind. Scary.
Of course... it, too, will be neon orange...
Bring anyone by you wish. On-site volunteerism is a tradition. Worst comes to worst, if they're motivated they can always tag along with peeps and get to know the ropes. If they wish, of course. Just make sure that they drink the kool-aid...Tal IMPM

Re:RAKIS SECURITY UPDATE - 2008/06/04 00:59I do have a quetion about gate duty. Me and another member of my shire have requested time for gate duty and we are not on the list yet? I was wondering if we were not allowed or if there were to many to get into it?
