seriously though, no one in that thread was trying to keep you from running that I'm aware of. well except maybe Rafike, that guys an asshole.
My intention bringing it up was just to point out the corpora as it didn't appear you were aware. you do have options to run, it would involve some sacrifice and effort, but aren't the things worth doing, worth doing right? you could travel up to CD frequently, move your records there, then run for office once you met the requirements.

I'm in contact with them, as i understand it, they rarely, if ever, play bel. It's mostly amtgard/sca. There are some other folks that play in Manhattan/Clay Center as well, including a former centerpointer. But i dunno what their status is.
There's also a group struggling to get started in McPherson, KS.
Morluk is also thinking about starting one in Salina.
I've got a few folks in Lawrence that want to play but lack the time/experience to start a park themselves.
And there was a park in emporia for a few months, never quite got off the ground, but i know one or two of the players
Lastly, Winfield has a group i'm trying to get in contact with.
