Re:Leather Help - 2005/04/27 15:43 If your looking at the Tandy/Leatherfactory catalog the stuff you want is called, Commericial Saddle Skirting. it's generally in the 14-16 oz range and sales on it run all the time. Don't let their marketing sucker you in tho. The do sell what they call their "Armor Bend" for more money but basically it's the same stuff. If you get it, do yourself a favor and get a really good knife cause it's a bitch to cut. Because without the garb we looked like dorks, and with the garb we looked like dorks with a purpose. - CioCio on E-sam

Re:Leather Help - 2005/05/03 15:56 Takezu!
I was looking for those rivets that i used while at the workshop a few weeks ago on my grieves. i believe they were "gun-metal." Can you help me find them? is they at this site under a different name?

http://www.tandyleather.com/products.asp?dept=135&pagenumber=3
Would it just be easier to buy an whole new set of rivets and take the old ones out?

Re:Leather Help - 2005/08/25 14:53 Zios u need to go down to the leather factory in denver also called tandy leather and score some leather from them, its going to be pricey no matter where you get it from, and the have tonz of other craft supplies there as well for lots of medival stuff/garb. And if you need any help or want to sit around making some armor i am all for it, none of my homies want to chill and work on armor they would rather play world of worcraft that game is fucking lamer than shit.
