Amtgard has been invited to particapate in Culturefest...Taste of Brighton
Event Date:
June 30th, 2007 at 11:00 AM until 5:00 PM
This is a family friendly event.

Event Description
This is a city wide event, with news coverage! This would allow Amtgard some prime chances for exposer and recuitement. WE have been given large section inbetween FREE food areas, near parking, and cooling stations. IMD will be having thier game day there. We need people willing to head up the demonstrations, if you are interested PLEASE let me know.

AMTGARD SCHEDUAL

11AM Open Fighting Begins
Anyone of any age is invited to pick up a foam sword and try their hand at combat all day long.
12AM One on One Fighting
Instruction to learn better fighting for one on one…. Learn tricks to impress your friends!
1PM Chain mail
Instructors will teach how to turn basic wire into wearable art
2PM Heraldry
Kids and Adults can learn a little more about what a crest is and what they were for. Kids will even get to create their own.
3PM What is Garb?
Learn how to make a basic T-tunic. These are great ideas for Amtgard and quick Halloween costumes.
4PM Archery
Get a chance to shoot arrows…. At willing people!
5PM Clean up
