Re:any dwarf monster rules? - 2007/04/23 04:23you need to reassociate .pdf files to acrobat. not being a fan of pc's i can't tell you how to do so... but, til someone does, right click the file and go to open with. select acrobat ready and yer good to go. you might be able to check a box that says "always open this type of file" or something like that, but i don't remember."But right now I'm a little concerned about my pants, since I don't know where they are." - Valathina Nailo

Woohoo! Glad to see the new people filtering in from what was a great convention.

RP'ing a Dwarf won't be any problem at all if you want to do that. While we do have monster rules, they're not an every weekend kind of thing.

Back in the day, Rift toyed around with the idea of a blunderbuss. I can't remember if he ever got it working, but the prototype looked like a hand crossbow that shot spells balls. I think that was it though.
thanks
No problem. Good to see you.

In XP
Open My Computer Go to Tools>Folder Options Select the File Types Tab Scroll down the list till you find PDF and highlight it Click the change button Select Adobe reader from the list Apply/okay
Or just re-install Adobe Acrobat and it should re-associate itself.

Re:any dwarf monster rules? - 2007/04/24 23:21Well, technically you only get credit for plying them twice a month, but you can play them more times."Let me explain this to you once. Re:any dwarf monster rules? - 2007/04/26 05:36I regret to inform you that the Iron Mountains is not a Flurby kingdom. The extent of the Role Playing is magic in battle games."Let me explain this to you once. Re:any dwarf monster rules? - 2007/04/26 07:38How about we lay off the flurb talk already?
While we call Amtgard a LARP, it's very combat orientated (the diet coke of roleplaying.) We do have quests from time to time, some of them (Back in the Freud days) were really spectacular (For us anyway.)

Re:any dwarf monster rules? - 2007/04/26 08:20Ahh, I see now. So while RPing is more predominate in Europe and some other small LARP organizations here in the US, Amtgard has somewhat changed overtime to become more of a game-type LARP organization, where it focuses more on the beating of foam swords. Well I kind of like the idea of a little bit RP, more fighting. I've been resaerching alot of weapons and whatnot, and was wondering if just fun-noodle type swords are only accepted in Amtgard gaming, or the latex/foam weapon replicas are too.
