But we can have as many fighter's practices we want per week. As long as we don't get more than six/ seven credits per month. Ok. I think I get it. Thats not entirely true. Basically we cant earn more then one credit per week other then fighter's practices, but for those that cant come out on Saturday, they would still be eligable to gain their credit on Sunday....thats basically what we did way back when. Those that came to the Sunday game as well as the day before would only get the fighter practice credit...assuming that did not exceed normal credit maximums.Hops.....Grains.....By God, my beer is a salad!

It only says an individual can only get one credit per week not the group can only have one gameday a week. Sorry but not true.
2.B.c. Fighter Practices give you 1/4 credit a practice. Any class you are eligible for, no limits aside from those in 2.B.f.
2.B.d. One credit is given out per week for normal Amtgard weekly game-days.
So if you are holding a fighter practice you get 1/4 credit regardless of attendance in a future or past weekly game.
The only way to get a full credit for attending is to go to a game day event. This can be in your park or another one. So if you choose to not go to a Saturday game day in CD you can still get a full credit when going to the game day in the NH on Sunday. But not to a fighter practice in CD.
Now if you think this should be changed there is an allthing coming up soon and you can petition to change it.

You could under 2.B.b. (Provincial leaders may approve extra credits but may not exceed the limits in 2.B.f.) choose to give full credit, but I would recommend that you don't. I am saying that it would be improper. The local monarch can give credits to who ever for what ever reason. I.e. Giving credits to the park even though you all went to a birthday party.
But the credit system is designed to give a credit to people who come to game day and play a class in a battle game. With out playing in the weekly battle game you really do not learn the class, thus no credit should be given.
Fighter practice is really about learning to fight better. the credit given should be secondary to the want to become a better fighter.
While we all have times where we are unable to attend a normal game day it should not be expected to be gifted a full credit for attending a non game day event. Your system would deviate from the other groups credit giving practices. I would also recommend staying away from the following:
1. Giving class credit to players that do not fight in the battle game 2. Allow players to play one class and get credit in another 3. Let players that forgot to sign in get credit.
While these seem harsh rules and at times be inconvenient they serve the purpose of giving the empire a standard credit system.
I will not stop CD from using the proposed system as its your right to grant credit as you see fit.

Thats ultimately the reason for having the second day on Sunday....in order to draw out the old members that cant make a game day on Saturday. They can still gain a game day credit for Sunday if a battlegame is played...just as long as it is scheduled as such. For now it is just a fighters practice...and when we get it organized it can be counted as a fighters practice for those that attend saturday.
This was actually all worked out several years ago when we did have official game days on both Saturday and Sunday in order to accomdate players in both Canon City and Florence. Actually as I recall it was resolved with a unanimous allthing vote.....guess we could do that again if need be.Hops.....Grains.....By God, my beer is a salad!

If you miss game day, good bye full credit for the week. And no, you cant get both fighter practice credit and game day credit on the same day.
I may be wrong on how I percieve this, but from where im sitting, it looks like this idea could be its own catagory in my upcoming tournament.
