New Class to the IMU? - 2006/12/18 06:41 There has been some discussion and thoughts about a mead making class up here in the Northern Holdfast, and a couple people have asked me if id be interested in doing a mead workshop, or if id just be willing to show them how.

Sir Grendel and I discussed the possibility of running a mead class for the IMU and I'm just wondering how many people would be interested.

So here goes;

If you'd be interested in attending a mead making class as part of the IMU reply to this message or send me a PM telling me your name, what park you're from ( what city its in would help too ) and ill get back to ya'all with more information about if, when, and where its going to happen.

Thanks,
Lord Edan MacGreine

if we can figure out where most of the interest is we'll hold the workshop in a more central location to the interest....demographics and stuff.

Re:New Class to the IMU? - 2006/12/21 02:36 If you dont tell me where you are then it makes it really hard for me to plan the workshop so it is conveniant for as many people as possible, so a month from now when we're advertising then whens and wheres, i dont want people complaining that its too far for them to go to...because im REALLY trying here.... http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/Brewers_Guild/

Re:New Class to the IMU? - 2006/12/21 04:00 I have counted at least 4 others in QT (Omaha, NE) that are interested that have not spoken up yet.

Remember, Nebraska and Iowa do not have a large body of water or mountains - we NEED alcohol to make life interesting.

Re:New Class to the IMU? - 2006/12/22 18:35 Yes! Load up some vans and head your arses out this way! We have an entire Principality waiting to create and down some sacred nectar. I'm sure we could rally the folks and provide some great food to go with all that mead!

Or maybe you were talking about NH...... but you could always turn that van more eastward and visit us out here

Re:New Class to the IMU? - 2006/12/23 07:39 well unfortunatly, the workshop is going to be comprised of at least 2 parts. the first part showing you how to start the mead, and the second how to finish. in general mead takes about 6 months to completly prepare...

but im sure we can find some other booz and still have fun

Re:New Class to the IMU? - 2007/01/12 22:19 Nimue of the NH here. I'm interested in the class. Professor and I could provide crash space for one or two people if it's held here, so no one has to drive long distances after the aforementioned drunken foolery.
