Re:Dor Un Avathar - 2006/11/06 17:19 thought: if you vote for Raphs over top of the Amt7 version, i will string you up by yer nuts. --grin--

seriously though, i don't consider raph's dor to be on par with the amt7 one. the amt7 dor has a far better layout and design. additionally, the monsters presented within the amt7 version are more thought out, balanced and varied.

on top of that, the amt7 version is extremely widely used across all of amtgard. to switch away from that would be a bad thing and should only be done if there is a tremendous benefit to the alternative. such benefit has not be presented.

plus, i hate to bring it up again ,but this whole thing was nothing more than political bullshit on the part of the BL. they can say what they like, but i don't buy it. we could have had the amt7 version made official at clan and the first round of revisions (the requested changes from the BL and other kingdoms) implemented by this time. but instead we had to have raph create something else, a giant screaming match ensue and then finally a compromise reached turning it into a contest between the two.

all n all, its just silly. vote in the amt7 book.
