Re:TWO WEAPONS ONE HAND? - 2006/08/15 15:55that you can't hold two weapons in one hand... pretty much exactly what it reads.
you CAN however, hold a weapon and a shield in the same hand. which some beleive was the intent of this rule. rather than stating what you can do, they stated what you can't do."But right now I'm a little concerned about my pants, since I don't know where they are." - Valathina Nailo

Re:TWO WEAPONS ONE HAND? - 2006/08/16 04:42it could be argued that you are holding the pole in one hand and simply guiding it with the other (which is holding the dagger).
should you get limbed you'd certainly have to drop one.
but, you raise a valid point. i think you are right in taht by strict interpretation it isn't allowed."But right now I'm a little concerned about my pants, since I don't know where they are." - Valathina Nailo

Re:TWO WEAPONS ONE HAND? - 2006/08/16 16:46ok... so upon consultation of some other rules folks it pretty much boils down to this:
wield doesn't mean carry. wielding is to actively attack or block or otherwise effect a combat. so there is nothing wrong with keeping an offhand sword in one hand while using a pole. providing you do not attempt to use them both at the same time. so if you get rushed, and want to block or kill yer attacker, make sure you separate the two weapons yer holding. attacking with both is nigh impossible to begin with, but would also be a no no."But right now I'm a little concerned about my pants, since I don't know where they are." - Valathina Nailo
