Kiln, or somthing like it - 2006/06/22 16:21
i just had somwhere between 50-100lbs of brass fall into my lap ayways, i got a forge/crucible furnace outback ( it's a convertable ) but my last ceramic crubible died last year. i know how to form a decent crucible, but i have no proper kiln to fire them. i have heard of crude kilns being a hole in the ground filled with greenware and wood to fire it and i am curious if this would work, or even if i could use my charcoal furnace itself to fire them. any of you with any experience in this your input would be appreciated
