Re:Surnames - 2006/05/28 21:32 Well, in German Bose means wicked (I know it doesnt have the w...sorry) and fuss is foot - so Bosefuss would be "wicked foot". So, you could continue with the German and do something like "Krieger" (Warrior) or "Kriegskin" (Warchild).....or something along those lines.

If you want further German translation, let me know!

btw, much of the dwarf related mythology/stories/legends originate in German.

Re:Surnames - 2006/05/30 07:12 except that i'm fairly sure grendel borrowed the name "bowsefuss" from the greg and bo morning show on Alice 105.9. bowsefuss is of of bo's obnoxious alter egos. i beleive its the asian birth chart guy. course... i could be wrong. Re:Surnames - 2006/05/30 07:45 never heard of it Rewth.

Bowsefuss was the name of my mom's stuffed toy Pluto dog (of disney fame)
she got it when she was 6 or 7, and she named it Bowsefuss
(pronounced Bow-suh-fuss)
now the name Bo-see-fus is just fun to say and is a slight change in pronounciation.

Bo Jangles was what my dad used to call me sometimes in junior high when
I had a wallet chain and lots of stuff in my pockets like pens and change and
various other assorted stuff.. I probably just told him he should use those
names because I thought it was funny and probably the silliest name I could
think of at the time, I don't recall specifically.. maybe he had a wallet chain. : )
