 Salt Wars Thanks! - 2006/05/22 16:53 Good day everyone,

First, let me congratulate Sir Matthias on his knighthood - it was well earned and one of my proudest Amtgard moments being able to award it to him!

Now, let me just say that I had a wonderful time. Thank you to everyone from the Principality for not only making us feel welcome, but making us feel like family (although I feel like a misbehaved child sore from the beatings that I have taken)

There are far too many people for me to thank for making this event as enjoyable as it was, but I would like to give special thanks to Evan and Rico for their special insights into arranging court - you made a tough job much easier.

The site was amazing, the feasts exceptional, the fighting intense and the comraderie was beyond belief - What else can be said.

Thank you to everyone for one of the best events I have ever been to!

I must say that I am very happy to corrupt the highest officer of the empire with the taint of happiness and love for the game and also to bid you welcome to our family. I hope you infect the rest of the empire starting with your own park so that more will travel out this way where we can meet many of them as well.

And as far as the little Indian guy, I will personally consider it a Imperial decree and it will be done.

Matthias, You have been an inspiration to me throughout my entire reign as Duke. It was wholely deserved and I am proud to say I have a great friend in you.

As for SW4, I was happy to see all of the comradery between our mother empire and our principality. All of you guys are more than welcome in our little neck of the woods and into our little family as Evan put it.

On a more personal note, Artimus and Sir Michael, It was a pleasure and an honor to work with you both at court. You are both wells of knowledge that I never knew the depths of, and may never get to fully realize. Thank you for your constant advice and revilry. The entire event was a total blast for me.

Also, Consider Lillywinks kicked in the butt. As Duke of the DR I will personnally set up an "Assembly Line" if you will. Rico
