IMD announcements, park changes, please read! - 2006/05/14 14:03 1) May 19th - 25th is Salt War. The majority of active IMD members in Denver will be going; most of the rest will be helping out at Opus Con (contact Grendel for info). As a result, the park next weekend is not canceled, but be aware that chances are good there will be very few if any people there.

2) May 27th IMD will be playing at Washington Park. There will be a Belted Circle at a nearby restaurant starting at 11am; the knights of IMD will be at the park once that meeting is concluded. Once we are assembled, there will be an IMD meeting at the park to discuss park changes that are being considered. (see below)

3) Althing ballots will be available at the park on May 27th as well.

As many of you know, the total IMD sign in for this weekend was at 40+. In the interest of taking advantage of this incredible growth, we will be discussing moving the official IMD park to Brighton for the foreseeable future, either on an every-other-week basis (i.e., one week we play in Brighton and the next week we play at the current park) or just on a weekly permanent basis. The vast majority of our new members range in age from 14 to 18 and many can't travel, so the question is whether to bring the park where the members are. Most of those who attended on Saturday were in favor of the plan in one form or another, so the 27th will be your chance to get the skinny and voice your opinion. If you care about the future of IMD and where you'll be driving to meet with us, please try to be there or send me your thoughts at sirtal@gmail.com and I will bring them to the meeting with me.

At this time, plan on the June 3rd park day being in Brighton either way. Maps and directions to follow.

Re:IMD announcements, park changes, please read! - 2006/05/23 16:44 All,

As for the 3rd of June at the new park in Brighton, Jazzel and I will be providing hamburgers and hotdogs to all new and old to help get as many of the players out as possible. Please remember the current park that we are playing at doesn’t have much shade (almost none) so if you have something that can lay out some shade please bring it. Jazzel and I will also be providing water and Gatorade to keep the thirst down but feel free to bring any personal drinks. If there is anything I might be missing please let me know and we will try to get it together.

Re:IMD announcements, park changes, please read! - 2006/05/24 14:31 Heya Kezgar,

The 3rd of June is the Imperial CQ and Defender Tourney down in Crimson Dawn. I am sure that you will still have a load of people that dont want to travel down, but probably wont have your normal park attendance.

Just thought you might want to know.

Re:IMD announcements, park changes, please read! - 2006/05/24 14:52 Yeah, I just had a major DOH on this one about half an hour ago.

So if you are going down to CD for Quals, great, but if you aren't, go to Brighton!
