 IFGS - 2006/04/24 13:27 So this past saturday I went down to boulder and played in an IFGS game called Tomb of the Goblin Slayer. It was AMAZING, a fully detailed dungeon crawl, with traps, trapdoors (yes working hidden doors!) Puzzles, a few encounters, and looting (being a thief is so much fun!) For me it was true LARPing, Live action D&D! It didn't have the fast-paced violence and fighting that amtgard does, but it DID have the Roleplaying factor that I do very much love, and I really enjoyed myself.

 Re:IFGS - 2006/04/24 18:36 ifgs has opened up Dream Park again? thats bout the only place you could have played with that elaborate a setup. if thats the case then thier numbers must be swelling notably.

i played ifgs for a couple years prior to coming out to amtgard. still have all my info for my monk, i think i'm 3rd level now. maybe fourth.

 Re:IFGS - 2006/04/25 13:25 I think so.. mmm, well, I had a blast and plan to do it again very soon, it's rekindling my Roleplaying spirit (gawd I'm such a dork!)

For playing a 1st leel thief, it was fun times. Working as the tracker.. then showing up at the end of the quest with a bag full of loot (props) from the tomb that nobody saw me swipe!

AND fyi, once I'm satisfied with the weather and not freaking out about school and getting a job, I shall be back out at the park, post-haste! Founder of The Black Fox Tribe
