Describe the job to me.

Here I will give you a short paragraph of what I had to deal with as PM. (Humor is the theme through this post so please take it that way)

Pro: Making sure to bring the sign-in sheet every week and getting it into the Ork

Con: People whining about credits not appearing in the ORK within a timeframe they would like to see them (like Sunday night after they get home from the park). Making sure you get there early enough and long enough to have everyone sign in

Pro: In charge of money and keeping the account straight. This includes the check book now (I had a money box, so it was a bit easier to access the money when needed)

Con: Making sure you make it to the bank with all the deposits and withdrawls during banking hours.

Pro: It actually is a great break into politics

Con: It is a break into politics.

All in all it isn't a bad job, it is politics light - I personally got over the constent battle of people squabbling that they were missing credits every week. Someone would forget to sign in and then crab to me that I forgot to give them credit. So it was taxing on my patience. But being you did so well in your reign, this job would be a piece of cake for you. I would vote for you.

Re:PM Proposals - 2006/04/04 12:11 damnit you're going to scare him away Bunny! : )

yeah, R-lady has it down pretty well

other things you might come across that are important,
making new players in the ork, moving players that haven't been
out in a while to 'inactive status'
paying taxes for dues paid players, keeping track of voting eligibility
taking money for folks paying dues, etc..
the bank is Compass Bank, there's a couple in town but I usually go to
the one off college near horsetooth, and I can get you on the bank account
easily (we just have to go in together with our license's/id's)
basic ork functions, etc..
all the ork stuff is really easy to learn though, and I'm sure
Cruz, myself, Takezu, Rewth, or Rabbitt could all show you how it's done
pretty easily.

one thing to note, with the new corpora change for alt classes you
would be responsible for moving people's credits from Bushi and Duelist
to other classes, that is if Cruz doesn't do it.. (hint hint, Cruz start requesting
folks to pm or post where they want their credits for Bushi/Duelist, or if they
are going to keep them where they are)

Re:PM Proposals - 2006/04/05 17:53 actually... problem with that... the ork doesn't allow easy transition of credits from class to class. right now you'd have to write down all thier dates and then delete them, then re-enter them. pain in the butt.

i'm planning to fix that in the VERY VERY near future, i jsut got sick instead. so while you can start asking for those creds, don't actually start trying to make the changes, it would jsut be far more work than necessary.

i'll post when its ready. and with local pm' and imperial pm's permission i'd actually be willing to handle the trasnfers myself jsut to be absolutely sure there's no problems.

Re:PM Proposals - 2006/04/24 14:35 My first act as new PM is to institute some friendly bribery. $20 gets you a free level. $100 gets you 6 levels. That's a $20 savings!

Knighthoods are negotiable, but bring some collateral.

Presently, Master Mask is unavailable, simply because some things are just too unbelievable.
