The Duchy of River's End invites you to join us for Salt Wars IV.
When: May 18-21 Where: Castle Park in Provo, UT (close to Salt Lake City) What: The Battle of Pelennor Fields. Why: It's all about foam. How Much: $20 Pre registration $25 at the gate.
The Principality of Desert Winds is hosting the Battle of Pelennor Fields. We have been running a great LOTR themed reign. Come and participate in the final battle for middle earth.
The field is all grass. That's right grass, nice soft squishy grass. You can fight all day and ditch all night and not trash your knees (you might need a good grass stain remover at home).
We are near a large city but far enough from the noise.
ALL meals will be covered, this means ALL meals. From dinner Thursday night to breakfast on Sunday.
Amenities: Flushing toilets, onsite camping, hotels within 2-4 miles, grass field to fight on, a cool castle structure to explore, lit ditch field,
Like Magic the gathering? Texas Holden? Go Fish? We will be having tournaments.

What is the weather like in the middle of May in Provo? If it is warm enough I might consider camping with my son. But if it gets too cold it will just be easier to camp in the hotel.

The weather is really noce, and the site itself is absolutly beautiful. A litle hot, cold at night, but all worth it, unless of course, you have a two-year old son.
But i strongly recommend this event, it is going to be a blast. See you all there.

But there is always the off chance of a snow storm in May. I have a Provo phone book at my house now and I am in the process of creating a list of amenitied in the area. I encourage everyone to pre -register and save $5 at the gate.
As Rewth mentioned my House O' Hare will be feeding chili dawgs. But this is Sat afternoon so the plumbing should be just fine.

J/K the event will be great and if I have to I will personally deal with any unhappy plumbing issues. (Just mention it to Fitz first for $$ bribes from me)

Riddick, If you keep an eye on the website under "register" it will show a list of who is paid. Perhaps you can coordinate with one of them.
