site editors and forum moderators - 2005/03/15 09:07 i am looking to make some folks editors on the site. they will have access to al lthe front end editing tools and will be able to add content to a number of parts of the site. specifically, the calendar, front end news, files, parks info, etc...

you need to know a very basic level of html to do most things, but its fairly simplistic. you can get by with only knowing paragraph and break tags.

you need to not be a cock monkey. i'd not be a happy camper if i came to the site one day to find it all wiped away or offensive crap posted in certain locations

and you need to follow a few very simple rules (like no posting files without clearing them first, so as to not hose my drive space)(and no posting l33t pr0n pix or other crap)

beyond that its a fairly simplistic job. i'd love to have one person from each major region at a minimum. it will make it easier for the calendar to remain updated. if yer intersted, reply to this thread of bounce me an email offlist (rewth@rewth.com). gimme some basic qualifications (i read a book on html once and i'm willing to only use my powers for awesome is good enough) and and idea of what you'd like to do with said powers.

also... i'm looking to add a few moderators to the forums. i've given obie moderator status over hte general forums, and posted some suggestions in the NH and QT forums. but i'm open to suggestions in all cases. moderators basically gaine the ability to edit posts (for offensive content), move posts to more appropriate locations, delete duplicates, make thigns sticky, lock threads, etc etc etc... think of em like forum janitors.
