Glitterbeards VII is upon us!!! - 2006/03/20 00:46
Come one, come all! We will now be accepting proposals for the running of Glitterbeards VII! Consort Sir Grendel and I will be looking over these and reviewing which proposal is most detailed and well structured. The following is what we will be needing from those wishing to propose to run the event:
General theme/idea- This will be what everything is based around. If there is a theme, include it. This is the general review of what will be happening.
Costs- This is very important. Included in the costs section will be the approximate costs per person to enter the event, how much food will be if provided, camping fees, total overall cost, expected revenue, and any other pertinent information pertaining to event costs.
Location- This will include where the event will be held, reservation information for the area and information/rules that need to be known and adhered to.
Time- This includes an approximate or definite timeframe for the event schedule. What time the event will be open for people to enter, when the deadline for everyone to leave by is, and any other time-sensitive material.
People- This includes who is involved with the whole process including a designation of who will be doing what from gate duty to food to who is running games, to security and anything in between.
Anything Else- Anything else that may me useful and beneficial.

Proposal deadline will be mid May giving everyone time to think and plan. I will send out another announcement beforehand with a definite due date, so get crackin’! Also, remember that GBIV is focused on not only making money for the Amtgard community, but also for the enjoyment of EVERYONE there. Good luck!
