Visiting next week - 2008/10/17 17:11 Hello IMers, Matew McC here from the farflung principality. I'm going to be out in Lakewood all next week for school (coming in monday afternoon and leaving friday morning) and I get bored pretty easily. Anyone free during the week to entertain me? Any chance of a fighter practice? As a rule of thumb, it is profoundly unwise to take crack-cocaine.

Re:Visiting next week - 2008/10/17 17:57 I am new to the area and have not yet found Figther practice. Although if you don't find anything I can meet you for some practice.

DM holds fighter practices Tuesday and Thursday... However I get the feeling that may cut back...

There is a FP in firestone by I-25, but it seems to be hit and miss.

Re:Visiting next week - 2008/10/18 04:59 Hey guys, for those in town (or able to be in town..) I hope you'll be able to come to IM and/or NH this weekend. We've got castle battles planned and are hoping for a decent turnout...

Kota and Ambrose still have a Fighter Practice in Arvada on Wednesdays starting at 4 pm at Robbie Ferrufino Park, on the corner of 74th and Carr.

They WILL be there THIS week to entertain anyone who can make it.

Re:Visiting next week - 2008/10/18 14:29 well the thing is, I don't know where anything is outside of the airport, the hotel I'm staying at and the campus for ACC in littleton, and even those I only know from googlemaps.

I'll be in class most of the day and I have a few papers to write while I'm there, so I'll likely only have 1 or 2 days of the 4 available to head out and do something, and even those not until 8 or 9 or so. If I could scare up a local guide to show me where a bar is, that would be super sweet and be rewarded with a few rounds for generosity shown.

Hell, the school is doing a performance of RHPS wednesday night, anyone want to go to that and have some drinks after? As a rule of thumb, it is profoundly unwise to take crack-cocaine.
