Re:IMD Undeclared credits - 2008/07/28 23:35Ya, I thought I had declared NH, but I guess I didn't do it in the right manner. How would I go about doing that?

Re:IMD Undeclared credits - 2008/07/29 06:11Sorry if im sounding a little rude but I've bin a little irritated that every time i go to amtgard and sign in i almost never get the credit for it. every person i talk too about it says that the pm sucks but wont tell me who he is. so ive just about given up on even caring what level im at. anyways thanks for fixing my credits. its true i havnt ben to the park very consistently in the past two months but thats because on a regular schedule i only get to go every other week. and with clan and rakis things have ben rather crazy. but as far as i know i left the iron mountains over a year ago.
P.S. Rewth, quit getting all pissy about every little post mistake i make. I joind the forums so i could discus what ever topic im on. not to hear you lecture me every time i say something.

basically we just need Kord to transfer your records from IMD to NH, then I'll take the credits from the second entry for you, transfer them to your 1st entry, and delete the 2nd. basically consolidating your info into one Ariston.Dragoon Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy. Hús Vetra Skald IMU

Re:IMD Undeclared credits - 2008/07/29 22:22i know that and im not the kind of person who trys to piss people off. i just dont like the fact that almost every time i make a post you seem to have some kind a problem with it. im not tryin to make you look bad but if you got a problem then send me a PM rather than letting every one know you got a problem with one person. besides this aria is for credit clarifications not personal problems. if you want to talk to me you have my yahoo adress.

Re:IMD Undeclared credits - 2008/07/31 05:31Lower thy hackles, little one.
If you are going to talk about people who should merely PM someone if they have a problem, then you should practice this mantra yourself. Figure out the PM of your park, and get ahold of them, and argue it out there, instead of causing a public fuss.

edit: Oh, and I'd like my undeclared to go under Color please, ^_^ Thank you!

You posted your original comment to a thread started by Kord where he is discussing reassigning people's credits for them. That should have been another real big clue for you. Thinking and asking should come first, then only if it is justified should you belittle people's competency.Casca Eruoy

Well, normally, this would be an appropriate place to do so. I have no problem with you coming here to try and figure out who is keeping the records, but belittling my ability to do so without even knowing who I am is not the most effective way to get things accomplished smoothly. Asking for someone to assist with something and then telling them they suck at doing that thing is not going to help your case any.
I'll admit, there are multiple weeks where I do not have records for, but this is primarily because I am required to work every 5th Saturday, and can't make it out to the park. On only one of those occasions have I received a sign-in sheet for the day that was missed. Now, perhaps I should have been more pro-active and tried to get someone to take attendance, but unfortunately, I was not. There very well may be some time in there that you were there and should have credit, but because I have no records of it, I can't validate it. If this occurs in the future, it would be in your best interest to make sure there is a sign-in sheet at the park that can make it into the PM's hands at a later date for recording.Kord

Then there is no one to blame but yourself if you are lacking credits, and you will glean a new respect for how difficult the job is. reminds me of a paraphrase of an old zen story
a woman went to a zen monastery. she was thrilled to be there, such a holy place, a place of enlightenment.
the first sitting period she walked mindfully up the steps of the meditation hall. as she was perparing to bow deeply before entering, she noticed a shocking thing. there, at the top of the steps was a bucket of filthy wash water with a mop protruding from the dirty depths. "that's awful!" she exclaimed, truly horrified, and went in to meditate.
the next morning the bucket was still there. "that's disgusting!" she muttered, "this is Zen?" and went in to meditate.
the next morning, the same bucket. she exclaimed "I can't believe this! this is ridiculous. someone should do something about this!" and went in to meditate.
the fourth morning, there was the bucket.
hardly improved by the days of neglect.
the woman looked at the bucket and thought "I'm someone," and took it away and cleaned it.Dragoon Strike First. Strike Hard. No Mercy. Hús Vetra Skald IMU
