Duchy A&S Nights - 2006/12/29 17:41Starting Thursday, January 4th, Casca and I will be holding weekly A&S nights for the Duchy at our apartment in Westminster. We have a wide variety of A&S tools (Leatherworking tools, multiple sewing machines, etc.) for people's use during this time period, and we also have room for people to bring over their own equipment. A&S nights will begin at approximately 6 p.m. We unfortunately cannot at present provide food for everyone, but anyone who is interested in preparing food will have full use of our kitchen facilities to do so.
Here are the directions to our apartment:
Take I-25 North to US-36 West. Exit Sheridan Blvd, turning left (south). Go past the light at 84th street and take an immediate left into the parking lot for Sunset Ridge Apartments (aka the tuff-sheds). Go to the second parking area on the right. Our building will be the farthest building on the side of the parking area to your left. #27H, on the South side of the building.

We expected it to be somewhat slow getting started; I'm gonna start pimping it at the park more so people get it in their heads that this is happening.Kord

They happen every Thursday, and they start around 6 p.m. So far, no one has shown up over the last three weeks, but there is a rumor that our own Commodore and Captain will be coming down to work on stuff! So come on over and take advantage of an abundance of A&S knowledge, skills, tools, and great company!
When: Thursdays, 6 p.m. till whenever we get tired and kick you out. Where: 8300 N. Sheridan Blvd. #27H, Westminster, CO 80003. What: Garbing, Leatherworking, brewing, or anything else you might want to work on. Why: Because making stuff is teh R0xx0rs! *ducks behind desk* Who: Anyone in the Duchy is welcome to attend! Re:Duchy A&S Nights - 2007/01/24 19:26To the Duchy of the IM, I Capt Kezgar your presiding Regent requests that all come to as many of these gracious nights as they can. I myself (Known to most as the “King of A&S”) have declared that I will be at least to one a month, and also the Commodore will be participating in these same nights. Kord and Casca have opened their home to use for these and we should thank them by going. Please join me and the Commodore in doing what we can to help the A&S.
The first night that we (both the Commodore and I) will be attending is February 1st, and will personally buy pizza for all that show up to show my support for the A&S, Kord and Casca. Please come and allow me the chance to show my gratitude to the populace and the Kord and Casca home!

Re:Duchy A&S Nights - 2007/02/23 20:21First off, I want to thank everyone who has taken an interest in the Duchy A&S nights. we've had a strong showing over the past month or so, and hopefully, we will be able to continue having such a showing for the foreseeable future.
We do, however, have one request with regard to people coming to A&S nights. These night are meant to be specifically dedicated toward A&S, and as such, please make sure that, if you are planning on coming to them, you have a particular project with you to work on. While one of the reasons for A&S night is to help people with ideas and implementation, it is a distraction for those actually doing work on their projects when people show up without having something of their own to focus on. Re:Duchy A&S Nights - 2007/02/24 02:03Kord doesn't get home on Thursdays until 9ish these days, but I won't mind at all. I wouldn't worry too much about the neighbors since they're used to Kord and I singing often and haven't complained about that. As for others in attendance, well, that's part of a&s too. ~shrug~ They can deal if they have an issue, since all who have some a&s project or something to work on are invited.
I've got a decent ear if you want any feedback from anyoen too, though my musical background runs to instrumental. Kord's the real vocalist of the pair of us.Casca Eruoy

Also, starting next week, Kord and I will be hosting A&S nights on Wednesdays, starting at 7pm, instead of Thursdays from now on. Hopefully, this will fit more people's schedules. The location is the same too.Casca Eruoy
