Back when we were deciding what to do as far as which Kingdom to join - we considered RW. Heck they're about the same distance, and some folks had attended an event there - and they were well on their way to getting established at that time.
I'm so glad we went the direction we did. And we're not privy to all the internal politics you guys might have, thus we believe you don't have any! (not entirely - but you get the idea.)
We have very little "personal agenda" politics here, and hope to strive to keep them from developing. We've a large group of friends, aquaintances and maybe some enemies - but everyone for all intents and purposes, plays fair and plays nice.
I hope things stay that way as new groups join up with us or form up around us. I want to build up Amtgard and other Amtgarders, not tear them down. If someone has goals, I'd rather strive to help them reach them than connive to keep their goals out of their grasp.
And it's certainly best to look at one's actions and decide - how's this going to make the people affected by it feel?
