I know it went a very long way and has gone a long way when the folks from the IM are able to make it over here at least once during their reign.

I tell you what you put the Principality of Rivermoor and our New Principality here in Iowa and MN on the books and I will make sure you are well taken care of.

It means alot to the folks out here when yall are able to make it out and both Tal and Z made it out here and we thank each of them for that!

If we are successful in our bid for Monarch and Regent, we will definitely make it out there (at least once) this reign to visit you all in what groups we can successfully schedule on a trip (or two?). I'd like to be able to do something with the theme of the reign whuile we're at it, so we'll be hitting you all up for upcoming events (post-Clan)... and see what we can coordinate for that.

And speaking of the reign theme, we're going to be plotting the ENTIRE time (whether we win or not.. but especially if we do win the election).

And it will not be an evil plot. We are not evil. We just want to help you be the best you can be. We know what is best and soon you will too... after you've been educated properly. Then you will understand what is best as well.

It is simply a matter of education. Then all will be happy and productive.

PLOTTING for happiness and improvement and productivity is paramount.

We will handle it for you. We love you.

I like his transparency too, and we'll plan to continue that openness in communication with the rest of the Empire here on the board. IN fact, it may be a little TMI at times, but we believe that folks are actually capable of skipping past the posts with the biological warnings if you're not really into that sort of thing..

What can the Empire do for your park?

We have had a giant rush of newcomers to the park. Personally, I would like to see some people from outside our group come and help them out. This is not a knock on the people in my group, in fact there are some quite decent fighters that come out. However personally, I have grown more in my fighting by fighting people outside my said group. Personally I think that these new kids could benefit as well.

That really is the purpose of the Imperial game days being scheduled at the various parks, and we'll be planning to continue that into our reign as well as continue running theme games at many of those Imp Game days.

What kind of Imperial game days etc do you want to see?

More games in DM's Terrain! Some interesting flag games might be pretty fun. Maybe a bit more objective type games over Mutual Destruction...

Actually, funny that you mention that... I REALLY want to plan a vist to DM to happen at Fox Run park while the weather still holds out, if we can you guys to show up there! I miss that park probably more than any other in all of the IM, and would love to schedule at least one Imp game day there to take advantage of *that* wonderful terrain.

As for these questions:

What's the one thing you've always wished the Imperial Monarchy would do that they haven't

What's the stupid thing you wish the Imperial Monarchs would stop doing.

I've only seen 2 reigns so far, so I can't exactly form an opinion.

If no one sucessfully qualifies for office due to a&s provisions, one would hope that at least one set of candidates had the sense to petition the populace to be allowed to run. If the failure to qual was due to inability to pass a reeves or corpora test (or some other reason) there is no such petition option. At that point an emergency althing would need to be held to adress the situation since no provision exists in the corpora.
