imperial weekend report: directors cut - 2008/04/22 01:49 Nihao, you fun-loving bunch of whack jobs,

First off, thanks to powell, the maldread and izzy for showing up to play on Saturday, it was mostly mighty fun.
Guess what? This weekend is an imperial game in NH. That’s right; we’re taking some castle towers up to the fort and putting the smack-down on the Wu province. Come kick some ass with us. It will be fun and educational. (minus the educational)
Week after that? We’re in SG hanging out with Our favorite trinidudes, and running a game for them, too.
Week after that? Salt wars. Be there or fry on a wok in sesame oil on high heat for 15 minutes, then add vegetables of your choice (broccoli, bell peppers and onions recommended), stir, and reduce heat to simmer. Simmer for four minutes, stirring occasionally, then remove from heat. Add sweet and sour sauce and toss lightly.
Enjoy.
Ok, I’m apparently hungry.
Anyway, as tal posted earlier, the votes are in and counted.
Olympus, dark shores and starmount are now a principality by a landslide vote: 25 to 1 with 1 abstention. Amazing.
Gratz to you guys in what is now ominously named Steel Valley.
When you say steel valley, you got to say it like that movie announcer guy.
“Steel Valley! the last great hope in an Amtgard gone mad. Now at a theatre near you. See it! Or be forced to eat Lao Z’s special sweet and sour Loptr.”
Steel Valley!
Ha! I crack myself up.

The other proposal, removing MotD from our empire for being uncooperative passed, also by a landslide 23 to 2 with 2 abstentions.
I’m sorry we could not come to an agreement. Good luck in your future of Amtgard.
I kind of want to make jokes here, too, but it seems like gloating and I don’t want anyone to think that I am rubbing anything in. it’s just that this has been taken so seriously, and now that we’re past it I just want to laugh it out.
*sigh*

And the last proposal, that we, as an empire, do in fact hate Raymond passed. (2 to 1 and honestly, I think tal was voting for peter boyle, who is not Raymond)
So, officially, as an empire: we hate Raymond.
Suck it, Ray!

There’s another thread (the reportening, I think) where the guys from falcon tor are trying to get some attention from us. I’ll be posting there after this, and I encourage you guys to drop your two-cents down. This seems very important to them.

Re:imperial weekend report: directors cut - 2008/04/22 04:44 Sweet and sour Loptr....eh.... it's not so bad. Definitely use the buckwheat soba noodles though. Much, much better that way.

One LARGE note of caution, however:

If Loptr EATS sweet and sour himself, do NOT close the door of the sleeping area if you have any hope of not passing out upon opening said door to retire yourself.

If you have no plans to sleep in the same room, may I recommend shoving a rolled up towel between the bottom of the door and the floor? You'll have a fighting chance of waking up in the morning as it will soak up and slow the leaching of toxic methane fumes into the general atmosphere.

Cheers!

Sindari

p.s. Yay Salt Wars!

Peter Boyle yes.

Raymond no. That guy personifies the words "whiny little bitch".

There will be no revolution.

This time.
