The dates for Rakis are generally up to the discretion of the chosen Autocrat for the event. As such, the dates in general are negotiable to an extent if planned far enough in advance. The issue that we are running into is that the site gets booked up early, and so we are somewhat at the mercy of the site when they have room for us.
For this year, the dates for Rakis will be June 9th through the 12th. Unfortunately, this was the only remaining weekend available for Beaver Ranch during the prime event season.
The other issue is that, since Rakis is the Kingdom coronation, moving it off too far would have an impact on the length of the Spring reign, and would force us to readjust our reign schedule, which, per corpora, is set to six months. While there is also some negotiability there, there is a limit on how far a single reign can be stretched before we stop adhering to the six month schedule. We already tend to run closer to a 5 month reign for Spring and 7 month reign for Fall as it is due to the holiday season.
