Hey everyone!
It's a little overdue, but here is the Big Honkin' Rakis XIX Thank You Post (tm). Attendance was a bit under expectation this year, a situation not helped by gas being nearly four dollars a gallon (!), but what I've heard from people has been pretty much positive. I'm glad you all had a good time!
I'd like to thank the people who volunteered to be on my 'Crating staff: Cutari, Talisin, Medryn, Kota, Nanako, Takezu, Axgar, Cruz and Daenen. I'd really like to thank the people who stepped up when real life caused holes in the staff: Kota, Kord, Khanar, Yoto, Cio Cio, William and Xandar. And I'd really really really like to thank those people who stepped up at and after the event to lend a hand: Casca, Moss, Atlas, Rafeki, Phydeaux, and all y'all who were staffing the security militia, the gate, and the kitchen when you could have been out whooping it up instead.
I'd also like to thank Emperor Lao Z, as well as the Great and Powerful mOZZ(tm), for being willing to take the reigns so the rest of us don't have to.
