 Stun in Jugging - 2008/08/20 06:12 okay, I have read the pdf document on the rules of jugging and nowhere in there does it state anything about a wound in stun. My wuestion is `if you become wounded in a jugging game and then stunned, does the five stones in stun count towards the seven stones of wound?' "Let me explain this to you once. If I kill you: You will be awake, you will be facing me, and you'll be armed."

so yes, while you are wounded and stunned, time counts on both. Dragoon

Now can someone explain to me why the IM breaks the rules on the goal?

We use stakes when our rules clearly state that the goal must be one foot in diameter and eight to ten inches in height and a score is made when the dog skull is placed into the goal. "Let me explain this to you once. If I kill you: You will be awake, you will be facing me, and you'll be armed."

 Re:Stun in Jugging - 2008/08/21 03:25 There are no in the rulebook official rules for jugging. This means there are various alternatives. The post method that you may have seen used in the IM is often used in other kingdoms as well. It also tends to be less damaging to the field of play and more easily padded for safety. Casca Eruoy

 Re:Stun in Jugging - 2008/08/22 20:35 I don't know if the intention is to be more authentic, I know I prefer the design over that of the 'drop the skull in the bowl', but it does seem to be more so (more authentic).


I haven't seen BOH in probably 12 years. lol. Owl called me the other day I guess it was on in spanish on one of the international channels.

For awhile, the rules for jugging were determined by the reeves 5 minutes before the tournament was supposed to start. That was a pretty sore point for the people who thought it might be the same as last year.

We have the posts now, but we used to play with overturned shields. I guess we had posts because someone wanted to make a cool foam dog skull. My guess is that even now it'll be a little different (At least) wherever you go.

Just remember to try and keep it fun (somewhere, god just killed a kitten)
