Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/03/31 22:56 It's getting to be that time again. At Clan this year the Circle of Monarchs will be voting on clarifications to the Rules of Play (no changes will be considered).

If you have any suggestions for clarifications post them here.

EDIT: I cleaned out all the previous posts I have the following for potential clarifications:

--How Remain Active Fireball works:
-- Do spells with unlimited use and free cost need to be on a spell list?
--Can a caster be affected by his own magic ball spells?
--possible diagram of a sword

I think all the others were answered here (I realize some of the above were answered but they come up often enough that we might want to explain).

Please continue posting clarifications.

Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/05/09 02:22 Negative.

N: Does not have to be discharged on the next person touched after the enchantment is cast, but can be saved until it is
needed; must be announced when discharged.

I have a suggestion though. I'd like to see Monks have the Touch of Paralyzation as an extraordinary (ex) ability somewhere within the Monk's ability list. Is that a legit suggestion or does it have to be a rule clarification only?

Pain is only an illusion of the mind. If you can control the mind, you can control the illusion.

Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/05/09 03:13 that would be a rules change to add an ability or trait to a class. (regarding adding touch of paralyze to monk)

as for touch of death,
it can be extended through a weapon only through contact with a natural weapon, - i.e. a monk can touch of death a monster's sword if it's a natural weapon and have it go through, with the loss of that limb that touched the weapon.
or through a natural weapon, if you have a monster w/natural weapons and touch of death ability they can touch you with the sword and use touch of death

I hope that answered your questions.

Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/05/22 03:37 Could we get a clarification on Sanctuary as far as how often you must chant Sanctuary. Perhaps making it subject to Magic Clarification 5. Noyan Genghis Scarpaw M.B.

Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/05/22 19:12 5. Effects and magic with ongoing chants require the chant to be repeated with no more than a 5 second gap between iterations. These chants must be audible to 50 feet.

I think that states that Sanctuary is subject to #5 since it is an effect already. Maybe a blatant phrase specifying no Sanctuary/Self-Heals.

Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2007/05/30 19:37 Clarification about the durability of relics. Specifically Heimdal's Horn and the Sword of Flame. Right now, you can use Swords to Plowshares and break the relics. Either S2P needs to be clairified to not allow this, or there should be a clarification reguarding the durability of relics. Re:Rules Clarification Suggestions - 2008/02/25 19:36 im not sure if this qualifies as clarification but i am getting ready to put together some bonemail armor to us on the feild. bone is not counted as an armor in the rule book so im not sure how to get an acurate point count if any.

ive started a seprate post in the new players section of the forums and have ben told to talk to medryn about it.
