Poles - 2007/02/12 01:00 Ok. could some one please tell me the newest regulations on making poles and what the capabilities of them are? Refering to slashing and poking. Also with the length of the curtisy padding and what type of noodle needs to be used. Thanx Wolf

Re:Poles - 2007/02/12 04:31 just whats in the rule book dude. i know you have read it...

"At least five feet in length. Includes spears but may also have
slashing edges (minimum 1 foot in length for a striking edge, must have padding on upper 1/3 of length)"

it basically breaks down as follows:
it must be 5 feet or longer to be a pole. there is no max length.
striking edge must be at least 12 inches long
courtesy padding must be 1/3 the length of the pole.
regular fun noodle is perfectly fine.

then, if you want to throw red/great status into the mix:
use monster noodle for 4inch diameter and
increase your striking edge to at least 3 feet.

fairly simple. its all on page 7 of the rulebook.
